1.      Why are you an Executive Director? What do you like best about your current position?

Somebody has to be the "Big Cheese" and I'm good at it! Love working with my board and association members. They are great people, always very creative, supportive and appreciative.

 2.      What idea or contribution to your organization are you most proud of?

Maybe my best idea was the day I figured out the smartest thing to do was place my ideas to the board in such a way that they always think its their idea. Then no worries about buy-in, they're already sold! 
 

3.      What is the biggest opportunity or challenge you see in your professional specialty area in the next five years?

State and local regulatory issues...no question. 
 

4.      If you weren’t an Executive Director, what profession would you most like to try?

Interior designer. HGTV is my favorite channel!

5.      Forgetting about work, if you could be anywhere in the world doing anything you wanted right now, where would you be and what would you be doing?

I'd fly to Rome and take a Mediterranean cruise to the French Riviera, Rome, Barcelona and Venice with my husband, Mr. Wonderful!
