Program Description
The Symposium for Chief Staff & Chief Elected Officers gives you and your volunteer the chance to explore your priorities for the year and determine how best to work together. The curriculum includes insights on making knowledge-based decisions, creating a culture of trust, and sustaining a nimble infrastructure. The Symposium addresses the fundamentals of a strong volunteer-staff partnership, provides insight into the pressing current and anticipated challenges facing associations, and highlights the value of research and strategy. The program is designed to engage participants in activities to discuss leadership styles and encourage immediate application of knowledge-based governance strategies. Led by the faculty from Tecker Consultants, this Symposium provides fresh ideas and concrete concepts that allow association executives and volunteer leaders to implement a knowledge based governance philosophy.
